On Saturday February 17th, Head Coach Jeremy Eubank completed the second session of the Goalkeeper Clinic Series at Simpson Parade Field.
The second session covered the following techniques:
– Footwork & Handling
-Distribution (throwing/kicking)
– Playing out of the Back
-1 v.1
“We had 8 goalkeepers for the second session and everyone made some great strides during the session,” state Head Coach Jeremy Eubank. “It was a great opportunity for everyone involved to get some work in prior to their spring season.”
The clinic featured goalkeepers from the surrounding area – Chatham, Roanoke, Danville and Martinsville areas. “For our first ever clinic I was very pleased with the turn out and hoping to continue to hold more in the future.”
