Hargrave and Fork Union clashed once again, with Hargrave taking the latest chapter in the storied rivalry by a score of 76-62. The game was played at E.C. Glass in Lynchburg, VA and saw Fork Union come out red hot on the neutral floor, knocking down three-pointers on 4 of their first 5 possessions. The Tigers would right the ship eventually, however, thanks in large part to Tavin Lovan, who scored the 17 of his game-high 23 points after the halftime break to lead the Tigers to a comfortable victory. Lovan also added 6 steals and 8 rebounds to his tally, while Connor Crabtree (12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists) also cracked double digits for the Tigers. Hargrave once again spread it’s scoring out, with 7 players scoring 8 or more points in the contest. The win propels the Tigers to 29-3 on the season, as well as to a perfect 2-0 against Fork Union.
