After only two weeks of practice, the Tigers faced stiff competition at the Knights Crossing Invitational in which 57 schools and over 1,000 runners competed. As a team, HMA placed 16 out of 18 teams in the varsity black race. Although this placement is low, we are well on our way to the goal of improving speed and endurance. The following athletes, placed and scored Emmanuel Clark, Brandon Beavers, Mengchu Zhao, Josh Williams, and Campbell Caretto. In the white race, the following athletes competed for Hargrave: Timothy Le, John Mauger, Wei an Chen, Joel Corpening, and Akintola Osho.
