To many analysts, bloggers, and coaches on the prep school scene, the biggest surprise of the season thus far has been Kiski School. Kiski came to the National Prep Showcase as a underdog, with games versus #1 ranked, and defending national champs, Brewster Academy, and another game versus #6 ranked Tilton. Kiski defeated both, and shot up to #3 in the prep school rankings.

On Thursday night, the Tigers took on Kiski School in what turned out to a instant classic. The Tigers defeated Kiski 135-117 in triple-overtime. Both teams put on a performance and had fans on the edge of their seats for 55+ minutes.

Kiski jumped out to a 23-2 lead, before the Tigers responded, using its pressure defense to take a 13-point lead into the half. The second half was back and forth, with fans cheering the efforts of Terry Rozier (Louisville), Anton Gill (Louisville), and Kiski’s Daniel Camps.

In the end, the Tigers used a 18-0 run in the third overtime to seal the deal and defeat Kiski. The Tigers were led by Terry Rozier, who finished with another monster game. Rozier finished with 40 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals. Not far behind was Anton Gill, who finished with 39 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Gill was a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line. Donte Clark (Virginia Tech) finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals. Greg McClinton (Wake Forest) finished with his 7th consecutive double-double. McClinton finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Neville Fincher finished with a double-double of 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
