Hargrave swimmers won ten of eleven events including all three relays in a decisive victory over their military school rival Fishburne. In addition, sophomore Tiger, Cadet Dionisio Carey shattered the school record in the 100 yard butterfly with a blistering early season time of 55.69. “Sio” also took the 100 Backstroke in a time of 59.22.
Another multiple winner was Cadet Wesley Harrell winning both the 50 and 100 freestyle events with times of 24.07 and 58.64 respectively. Single event winners were Cadet Jack Calrson in the 200 freestyle (2:20.25), Cadet Jonathan Wachendorfer in the 500 freestyle (7:26.28) and Cadet Chris Travis in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.53). Congratulations to all of the swimmers for an impressive start.
Hargrave will host Martinsville on November 30th.
