The Tigers swam fast the entire night, and eventually earned 2nd place in the Virginia Independent Conference for their efforts. Swimmers dropped times- sometimes huge times- across the event to keep the Tigers neck and neck with the eventual champion Bishops from V.E.S. Nate Hidgon proved he was a force to be reckoned with all night, bumping his total number of VISAA state qualified events to a whopping 7, and helping propel strong Tiger finishes in both his individual and relay events. All in all for the evening, the Tigers medaled in 8 of the 12 events against strong competition.
Next up for the Tigers are the 2019 VISAA Swim and Dive Championships in Stafford, VA. The event will take place on February 15th and 16th.
