Hargrave jumped out early in a victory over crosstown rival Chatham. Defense keyed an early run for the Tigers, as they built a 19-10 first quarter advantage. The trend continued in the second quarter and Hargrave went into halftime with a 45-30 lead. In the second half, the Tigers were able to extend the lead to 20 before sealing a 79-63 win.
The Tigers were led by Malachi Paige with 21 points. Lyndon Massenburg and Tim Buchikos both scored 14. Josh Farmer came off the bench to add 12. The win puts Hargrave at 7-2(4-1) on the year.
