Hargrave was able to overcome an early deficit on the road once again, this time besting Roanoke Valley Christian by a final score of 6-2.
Hargrave rebounded quickly after the early gaffe, with Chris Czarnecki netting the equalizer in the 26th minute. From there, it was all Tigers. Patrick Franzoni gave Hargrave a lead that it would not relinquish, netting his first of four goals in the 33rd minute. A penalty kick by Raines Wall capped the first half scoring for both teams.
The second half was dominated by Patrick Franzoni, scoring all three of the Tiger’s goals in the period. Brett Feller added 12 saves in the decisive win.
Hargrave will be back in action hoping to avenge a tight early season loss on Saturday September 19th against Blue Ridge. The kick-off at Simpson Field is scheduled for 5:00PM.
