Hargrave has a new State Champion! Cadet Nigel Cawthon went a perfect 4-0 with four pins to win the heavy weight State title. His longest match of the weekend last just over one minute. Cadet Marcus Chase also had an outstanding tournament and brought home a fourth place medal. Both of these young men have qualified for the Prep National Tournament with their exceptional performances. Cadet Cody Day was the teams other placer finishing the weekend in 8th place.
All of the wrestlers performed well and the team finished in 10th place overall out of a 33 team field. If you see any of them around campus today please be sure to congratulate them.
