The Post Graduate Football Team traveled to Fork Union, VA on Sept. 2nd to take on their rivals of Fork Union Military Academy. After a hard fought game, the P.G.’s fell to FUMA by a final score of 7-28. The offensive groud attack was led by running back Tyree Massey who had 10 carries for 82 yards. The first touchdown of the season came on a passing strike from quarterback Trevor Vasey to wide reciever Eric Lauderdale early in the second quarter. The defensive unit was led by linebacker Christian Russell who tallied 5 tackles and a fumble recovery, as well as defensive back Jabari Thomas who came away with 2 pass break-ups.

Turnovers hurt the P.G.Tigers on the day, and they look to get back to work this week as they prepare for their second game of the season. The team will continue to work hard on the practice field and improve every week throughout the season.

The next game is Monday, Sept. 12th in Pittsburgh, Pa against Robert Morris University J.V. team starting at 3 p.m.
