Hargrave jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, soaring past Oak Ridge by a score of 9-0 in a non-conference battle of military schools.
Chris Czarnecki paced the tigers with four goals and three assists, with Patrick Franzoni recording his fist career hat-trick with 3 goals, and Raines Wall finishing off the other two Hargrave scores. In his first home start of the season, Nick Marsoobian recorded his first shutout of the season, making eight saves along the way. The win moves the Tigers to 10-7 overall, and establishing a new high-water mark for wins in a season since the 2006 season.
The Tigers will return to action on October 15th, hosting undefeated Carlisle on Simpson Parade Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30.
