Hargrave soccer earned a hard-fought 3–2 victory over the Blue Ridge School Barons on Saturday, snapping a 16-game losing streak and securing its first win over Blue Ridge in 10 years.
Patrick Fowlkes led the way with a hat trick, scoring all three of Hargrave’s goals. Julian Odeja assisted on one of Fowlkes’ goals, while Ryan Roach provided two assists to help fuel the offensive effort.
The win marked a significant milestone for the program, ending a decade-long wait for a victory over the Barons and giving Hargrave momentum heading into its next match.
Hargrave will return to action today at 5 p.m. against the Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors.
