Owens qualified for State in the 100m dash with a personal record of 11.72!

That’s a 0.82 second improvement – an incredible leap in sprinting terms.
At this level, a drop of nearly a full second in the 100m dash is tremendous, showing major gains in acceleration and confidence. Jojo’s progress stands out as one of the biggest jumps of the meet! Way to work Jojo!
Mboya showed massive improvement in Discus, throwing a personal best of 94-1 – up from 68-1 just one week ago! That’s a 26-foot gain. Impressive growth, Mboya! He will be breaking Leon’s records real soon
Moise ran a personal best of 12.16 in the 100m dash (previously 12.64). He just missed qualifying by 0.16 seconds. With his work ethic, nothings stopping this guy.

• Jojo – 12-8 – Focused on sprinting this week but still gave a solid effort.
High Jump
• Mancine – 5-4 – He’s been putting in serious work leading up to the championship and pushed through some soreness on meet day. While this jump wasn’t his personal best, he continues to represent and is headed to State. We’re confident he’ll show out
