Jordan McKenzie, a 6’1″ point guard from Concord, NC announced today that he has ended his college recruitment process. “Jordan, simply put, is a winner. He does a great job elevating the play of those around him, and, even more importantly, he’s an outstanding young man off the court. He wins on the court, he wins in the classroom, and he wins  He’s a coaches’ dream in the way he conducts himself in all phases of life. There is no doubt in my mind that Jordan will help Stony Brook get back to the big dance multiple times,” commented Head Coach A.W. Hamilton.

Jordan was being recruited by Coastal Carolina, Winthrop, Oral Roberts and Jacksonville, but chose Stony Brook after an official visit to their campus last weekend. McKenzie noted that it “felt like home as soon as I got there.”
