Josh Livingston Commits to Anderson University

Josh Livingston has ended his recruitment and will attend Anderson University on a full basketball scholarship. Livingston, a bouncy 6’8″ forward, improved by leaps and bounds over the course of the year. In the spring live period, he caught the eye of nearly every school that came into Walter Davis Gymnasium to scout. Livingston’s dunks were a staple on the team’s highlight reel all season long, while still shooting 40% from the 3pt line for the year.

Head Coach A.W. Hamilton commented: “I am so proud of Josh and his development this year. He’s found the perfect spot where he can impact a program on the court and get a quality education in the classroom. He has a chance to have a special career at Anderson.”

Josh, a native of North Myrtle Beach, SC, saw his recruitment expand by leaps and bounds this spring. He chose Anderson over a number of other Division 2 offers, and even some Division 1 schools that were hot on his trail. He felt an immediate connection to Anderson’s campus and coaching staff, and knew it was the right fit after taking an official visit. Josh is one of 14 players that have signed scholarships from the 2016-17 team.
