JV Baseball picks up a win and a tie against Dan River

JV Baseball played a double header this past Saturday.  Game 1 was a nail biter, with Harris pitching extremely well and Delaney finishing in relief.  The game was only supposed to go to 5 innings.  In the 5th inning with 2 outs and the Tigers leading 1-0, there was an extremely controversial call. Resulting in another inning of play.  The game ended with a 1-1 tie.  The Tigers played a great first game with Cothran 2 singles, -Dixon 1 single, -Delaney 2 singles, -Harris 2 singles, and -Coleman ended game one with 2 Singles.

The ending of game 1 apparently stirred up the Tigers and game two had a completely different result.  The Tigers crushed Dan River offensively and defensively.  The Tigers won 10-0.  Plate leaders were Cothran 2 singles, -Delaney 1 Double,  McBride 2 Singles and 1 Double, -Cusmano 1 single, -Harris 2 singles, -Dixon 1 single, Triple, Double.

Super proud of the fight and sportsmanship they displayed.
