The JV Basketball team took on Eastern Mennonite School and came away with a 49-40 victory. The guys came out playing some of their best ball in the first quarter and took an early ten point lead into the second. Foul trouble allowed EMS to close the gap to 26-23 at the half. A balanced attack and a strong defensive effort in the fourth quarter made the difference for the Tigers.
Four Tigers scored at least eight points led by Cadet Ragland with 11, Cadet Jacobs with ten, and Cadets Franzoni and Wall with nine and eight respectively. Franzoni and Jacobs also owned the backboard with seven rebounds each.
The JV team will be back in action on Thursday with a chance at a little payback against North Cross. This will be a home game and the guys would love to see as many of you as possible. Thank you for your support.
