The most difficult part of coaching at Hargrave for me is to take a group that has never played together before and try to turn them into a “team”. Last night, the JV players left behind the individual and turned into a team – at least for one game. All thirteen players played at least 5 minutes, all of them shot the ball at least three times, 10 scored, 10 had rebounds, 9 had assists, 8 had steals, and all 13 cheered while others were on the floor. Finally, we beat a good team by a large amount. This team is a pleasure to coach. I am proud of all of them.
