Hargrave 8 – Ravenscroft 26
After Ravenscroft returned the opening kickoff 70 yards, the Tigers were never really able to regroup. The opponents first 3 possesions led to a score, but that would be it as they would only score one more in the second half as the defense would tighten up.
From the second quarter on, the Tiger defense held fast and shut down the opponent. Only problem is we were not able to capitalize on our chances. Adam Lee punched it in from 3 yards out to put us on the board, capped off by Dev Bailey’s 2 pt conversion. But the breaks and flags didn’t go our way as the opponent was only called for 1 penalty the entire game. An interception by McDowell, was overturned and then ruled no interception, which then led to the final Ravenscroft TD. Hargrave will be at home next Thursday against LCA starting at 4:00.
