The Tigers suffered their third lost of the season against Miller School. Hargrave faced an opponent that allowed very few opportunitiesand had a solid defense. Miller School took the lead early in the match and added two more goals later in the same half to go to halftime with a lead of 3-0 over the Tigers.
During the second half, the Tigers saw more opportunities for goal, but were unable to get the ball in the net. Forward Sterling Wills was able to beat the defense once and sent a swift shot the went under the keeper’s legs and gave the Tigers their only goal. Miller would come back to add three more goals to their count making the final score 1-6.
