The Tigers were unable to contain the Eagles of Roanoke Valley Christian and lost the match with a final score of 2-6. The Eagles dominated the first part of the game and maintained a lead of 2-0 throughout most of the first half. The Tigers responded within minutes of halftime with a perfect cross from the left by Nabeel Barqawi straight to the cleat of Tyler Aichinger,who converted the much needed goal with impeccable precision.
The Eagles continued to press on the Tigers during thesecond half and added four more goals to their count. However, once more within seconds of the match ending, the Tigers responded with a final goal by JunghyunYou with Austin Kaizer in the assist.
