The JV soccer team played the Carlisle School last night on our home field. This is always a tricky game as a group of well trained passing machine 8th and 9th graders typically come in and pass and score around our giants.
Last night though the Tigers were the ones that possessed the ball probably 75 percent of the game and had a ton of scoring opportunities.
Cadets Lucca Nunes, Nic Jimenez and Jose Posados capitalized on their opportunities leading to a victory over Carlisle school 3-1. This win was a long time in coming.
Please give the JV Soccer guys a pat on the back as you see them today. They have been working very hard and are playing well AS A TEAM. Is great to watch them string together some back to back victories. Their confidence is High as we are finishing up the season. We look forward to Wednesday as we take on a very tough Lynchburg home school team at home. We look forward to seeing you out there.
