Hargrave 3 – Carlisle 5
The Tigers hosted the Carlisle Chiefs and ended with our third loss of the season. Both schools played well and took advantage of the openings offered by each team The Chiefs opened the score early in the game, but the Tigers quickly responded and tied the actions. Carlisle kept on pressing our defenses and scored two more goals, but Hargrave came back and scored another goal to shorten their lead. The second period started with a score of 3-2 with Carlisle winning the match. The Chiefs took opportunity of the space we provided and scored another goal to set the score 5-2, but again the Tigers reacted and scored their third goal of the match to seal the final result of 5-3. The Tigers kept on trying to beat Carlisle’s defenses, but were unsuccessful. The goals for the Tigers were scored by Eric Park, Theodore Goldean, and Dwayne Aderemi. Keeper Douglas Morrisette did a commendable job guarding our goal and accumulated 12 saves.
