Hargrave 2 – VES 0
Hargrave JV Tigers came out with fire in their eyes after their first game at Holy Cross. Their apponents at Virginia Episcopal School were physically bigger but the JV Tigers had the heart and passion to pull a great upset with a win. Offensively the Tigers had 14 shots on goal – 10 more than our last game. Defensively, Daniel Jonas had 9 saves. Our offense was led by Jay Suthard and Spencer King with 4 shots on goal and 2 attempted assists while Spencer had 3 shots on goal and one assist. The defense moved together closing the holes and not allowing but 9 shots on goal. There was spirited play by Aidan White and Asa Dowdy. Again, everyone present was able to play! The team came together showing everyone their spirit and desire to win. Thanks for your support!
