The final JV Invitational of the season concluded this evening followed by our first 11-dive meet session of the school year. Our only opponents were Christian Heritage Academy. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our young competitors.
- 200 Medley Relay:
- We did not have anyone entered
- 100 Individual Medley:
- Andy Li came in 1st overall and scored us 8 points. This was a PB for Andy and the 1st one for the evening.
- Will Shen unfortunately had a one-hand touch on the Breaststroke turn that caused him to be DQ’d,
- 50 Freestyle:
- Thanh Nguyen came in 2nd overall; 1st for Hargrave and scored 6 points. Thanh was just 0.03 seconds off his PB!
- Jacob Crowdle came in 3rd overall and scored 5 points. Unfortunately no PB this time.
- 200 Backstroke Relay:
- Relay: Zachary Zvarych, Andy Li, Will Shen, and Dylan Herrera came in 1st overall and scored 10 points!
- 50 Butterfly:
- We did not have anyone entered
- 100 Freestyle:
- Zachary Zvarych dropped 1.4 seconds and came in 1st overall, scoring 8 points. PB #2
- Dylan Herrera came in 2nd overall and scored 6 points. No PB.
- 200 Breaststroke Relay:
- Unfortunately Andy Li gave it his all from the previous event and we had to sit him out for the remainder of the meet.
- 50 Backstroke:
- Zachary Zvarych came in 3rd overall and scored 5 points. Zach has only been back at school 2 days so to even participate in a swim meet after 4 weeks off was impressive enough!
- 50 Breaststroke:
- Will Shen overcame his earlier Breaststroke DQ and came in 1st overall, scoring 8 points, and successfully securing PB #3.
- 200 Freestyle Relay:
- Thanh Nguyen, Zachary Zvarych, Jacob Crowdle, and Dylan Herrera. Came in 1st for 10 points!
Then the boys participated in an 11-dive meet:
- Alex Moore came in 1st overall and has qualified for States!
- Keylen Hudson came in 2nd overall, qualified for States, and PB #4
- Kelsten Hudson came in 3rd overall and scored a PB (#5!)
- Elijah Willette came in 4th overall.
