The JV Tennis team played Randolph-Henry against their varsity team of high school players. Hargrave’s JV Squad included one seventh grader: Austin Causey; four eighth graders: Gibbons, Hoffman, Kerr, and Smith; one sophomore: Sterling Price; and one junior: Andrew Hudson.
The team played their hearts out and came away with some winning games in each match. Austin Causey, my seventh grader, WON his first match ever- played against a sophomore. His score was 8-6. He demonstrated the skills/techniques he learned at practice.
