JV Tennis vs. Sacred Heart

May 27, 2011

The Junior Varsity had their first match last night. A first match in the great game of tennis for all players except one. We lost the match to Sacred Heart-1-8. Will Andersen/Will Graves came away with a win in #1 doubles, Miguel Garzozi lost in a tie breaker at #5 singles. Matches were close and the team spirit and sportsmanship of Hargrave showed through. Thank you to Darlene Paton for the “Pizza Run,” Tim Torborg and Meriwether’s. Proud of all players-played well. Our next match is Monday at home against Randolph Henry at 5 pm. Practice today.
