The Tigers squared off against the Eagles of Covenant School in a rematch of last season’s 1st round playoff match-up in which Hargrave was victorious. The game was nothing short of a great battle between two solid lacrosse programs. Both teams traded goals throughout the contest and not truly decided until late in the fourth quarter of play as a pair of goals from Connor Rogers and Nick Duran sealed the 13-11 victory for the Tigers in the final minutes of play.
Notable game performances were had by several players. Graham Kelly and Jake Bledsoe each had a strong night on defense. Goalie Jackson Reeder recorded a season-high of 21 saves on the day. Connor Rogers and Nick Duran combined for 11 goals and 5 assists.
The win gives the Tigers their first VIC win this season.
