The Tigers traveled up to Massanutten Military Academy to play their third game of the Patriot League. The Tigers entered the contest 2-0 in Patriot league play and atop of the league standings.
While the Colonels of Massanutten played hard and fought for every inch, the Tigers dominated the day with solid team-lacrosse. The contest saw many firsts for the Tigers as several players from the bench saw significant time and recorded their first stats of the 2018 season.
Goalie Jackson Reeder recorded his first shutout of the year with a solid performance between the pipes. Seniors Connor Rogers ( 4g, 3a ) and Nick Duran (1g, 3 a) anchored the offensive efforts of the Tigers early. Contributions made off the bench were many as Rutherford Sampson had 4 goals, Evan Kimberlin found the net 3 times, and senior Iver Liu had a strong support day as he recorded 3 assist in the contest.
The Tigers found the net 21 times in the game securing the victory and advancing to 3-0 in Patriot League Play.
