Marsh, Tyson Make Decisions on National Signing Day

Hargrave Post-Graduate Cadets Stephen Marsh and Micheal Tyson selected their future schools on National Signing Day, February 6, 2013. Both young men played for Coach Troy Davis, Hargrave’s Head Post-Graduate Football coach, during the Fall 2012 season and attended Hargrave to improve their core GPA, SAT/ACT scores or gain more visibility with college recruiters.

The program has placed 46 students of 63 team members so far during the 2012/2013 Academic year. 12 of those students arrived at Hargrave with opportunities, and 34 students found opportunity while attending Hargrave. There are also 3-4 students still expecting placement.

Cadet Stephen Marsh selected Lincoln University (Missouri) to further his education and for participation in their well-known football program. Cadet Marsh, 6’4 and 190 lbs., is a Free Safety on the field. His parents are Steve and Jewel Marsh of Laurel, Maryland.

Cadet Micheal ‘Mike’ Tyson selected the University of Cincinnati for both for academics and athletic opportunities within their football program. Cadet Tyson, 6’2 and 185 lbs, plays as a Free Safety. His mother is Athena Hill of Norfolk, Virginia.

The Cadets participating in Hargrave’s Post-Graduate Football program routinely place in Rivals.com Top Prep 25 Prospect Ranking.They have done this consistantly for many years, with each new year featuring a completely new class of athletes.
