The middle school basketball team won against the Chiefs of Carlisle School buy a score of 49-20. The Tigers were able to set the tone early by turning very good defense into easy transition baskets. The Tigers were also able to take advantage of their size and strength inside the paint.
The entire team contributed, with all players seeing time on the floor. Leading the way for the Tigers was eighth grader Josen Sheppard (18 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assist), seventh grader T.J. Miller (12 points, 5 assist, and 5 steals), eighth grader Luc Garcia (8 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks), and eighth grader David Hubbard (5 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals).
The young Tigers return to the hardwoods on Monday, December 11th, when the Chatham Cavaliers come to visit historic Davis Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 6:00 PM.
