The Hargrave Middle School Basketball team showed a lot of improvement in their game on Tuesday, December 13th, as they defeated the team from Epiphany by a score of 39-24. It was a total team effort as all 10 team members played hard and contributed significantly to the win. Slater Barefoot led all scorers with 14 points. Isaiah Guzman had 9 points, Zack Packer had 8, and Ben Badami and Gabriel Cabral each added 4 points. The Tigers hustled up and down the court and played with a lot of enthusiasm in an exciting game! The third quarter made the difference, as the Tigers played good defense and outscored the opponent 14 to 2. They also scored in the first quarter for the first time this year. The MS Tigers now have a 2-1 record, and hope to keep improving their play.
