Middle School Basketball Falls to Liberty

The Hargrave Middle School Basketball Team fell to a very good team from Liberty Christian Academy on Thursday, December 15th, by a score of 38-8. Even though behind in the score, the Tigers played very hard and never gave up. They hustled well and played good defense against a good offensive team. The Hargrave team was hampered by the absence for most of the game of Slater Barefoot, who had a sore back, and by two players who were ill. Jimmy Freeland and the other substitutes did a nice job off the bench. Isaiah Guzman was the Tigers leading scorer with 5 points. Even though losing, much good experience was gained and should help the Tigers in future games.
