The middle school basketball team traveled to Martinsville, Virginia and got their fourth victory of the 2016-2017 season, when the young Tigers defeated the Chiefs of Carlisle School by a score of 46-18.
Every player on the team saw valuable minutes and contributed to the victory. Ijomah Ezuma lead the way with 21 points,12 rebounds, and 2 blocks, while David Hubbard (8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals), Vittorio DeAngelis (4 points, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds), Jaylen Martin (4 points 4 steals, and 4 rebounds) and Graham Kelly (4 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals) all chipped in with solid performances.
With the win, the young Tigers improve to 4-1 on the year. The Tigers will return to action on January 25th, when they will travel to Roanoke to take on the Raiders of North Cross. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
