Hargrave 35 – North Cross 37
On January 5, 2006, the Middle School Tigers fell to North Cross by a score of 37-35. Six different players were able to rack up points during the game. Nick Meyer led the team with 10 points, with 8 of those points coming in the first quarter. Mark Barber scored 9 points, with 3 of those points coming from a long 3-pointer at the top of the key. Travis Shelton finished with 6 solid points, while Ryan Harper and Luther Scaife both scored 4 points. Reeves Hollar rounded out the scoring with 2 points. The Tigers led most of the game, but North Cross made a late minute run to pull ahead of Hargrave with less than 30 seconds to go Although the Tigers tried hard, they were unable to regain the lead. Overall, the Tigers played solid ball.
