Hargrave 33 – Westover 37
On January 6, 2006, the Tigers fell to Westover Christian Academy by a score of 37-33. Once again, Hargrave took the lead early in the first quarter, but Westover made a strong second quarter run and never relinquished the lead from then on. Six different players racked up points for the Tigers. Mark Barber led the team with 13 points, while proving once again he can drain the 3-pointer when needed. Nick Meyer scored 9 points with both perimeter shooting and strong post play. Ryan Harper and Luther Scaife proved to be invaluable in the post as they scored 6 and 3 points, respectively. Joe Davis rounded the team out with 2 points. Next up, the Tigers meet Lynchburg Christian Academy at home on Monday, January 9th at 4pm.
