Myles Patten Commits to North Carolina A&T

Myles Patten has officially ended his recruitment and will attend North Carolina A&T. The 6’4″ guard came to Hargrave after playing for legendary high school coach Bob Hurley at St. Anthony’s in New Jersey. Between his time at St. Anthony’s and his time at Hargrave, Myles has recorded one of the most successful high school careers in the nation.

“Myles is truly a winner. It has showed at every stop of his high school career, and I’m sure that it will continue at North Carolina A&T” commented Head Coach A.W. Hamilton. “Myles isn’t just a great player- he’s a great person off the court, too. His ability to positively impact any team’s culture will serve him well at his next stop.”

Myles, originally from Brooklyn, NY, fulfilled his dream of playing Division 1 basketball by choosing North Carolina A&T over a number of Division 2 and small Division 1 schools that were recruiting him. Myles’ commitment marks the 12th player from this year’s roster to commit to a Division 1 school, extending the school record.
