The Post Graduate team traveled to Milledgeville, GA on Saturday, October 6, 2012 and took on the Georgia Military College Bulldogs. The PG’s battled throughout the hot day, but came away losing to the junior college 27-0
The offense was balanced rushing and passing throughout the day. Five different receivers caught the ball, led by tight end Monte Taylor‘s three catches. Cadet Fernando Smith had another could day rushing the football behind full back T.J. Allen and the offensive line.
Defensively, the Tigers fought and battled throughout the day after giving up two quick scores to start the game. The Tigers forced two INT’s in the ballgame. Cadets Kivon Coman and Brian Nance each grabbing an interception. The leading tacklers on the day were linebacker Leonard Floyd (15) and free safety Stephen Marsh (8).
The Post Graduates look to get back to winning as they travel to Loretto, PA on Monday, October 15th to take on FCS JV opponent St. Francis University with a 3 p.m. kickoff.
