On a cold Sunday afternoon this past weekend the Post Graduate Football Team played the visiting Atlanta Sports Academy. The game was a defensive struggle throughout with Atlanta Sports pulling away at the end for a 17-0 victory over the home standing P.G. Tigers.
The ground game provided the most of the offense push on a blustery day. Running back Isaac Robinson carried the ball for 120 yards with hardnosed runs throughout the game. Offensive line play of Dion Dawkins, Oliver Lumpkin, and Tight End Alex Robinson helped pave openings for the running backs.
The Tiger defense pushed hard all day and played good assignment football throughout the game. Linebacker Brian Nance helped lead the defense with 8 tackled for the game. While Demetrius Lofton and Stephen Marsh each had 6 tackles in the game. Tristan Walker recorded his first interception on the year to account for one of the 2 interceptions the team had on the day.
The P.G. Tigers return home this Saturday night for a 7p.m. kick off with Jirah Prep.
