Patron, staff, cadet, and facility users’ safety are at the forethought of our minds during this change in the mask policy. We have taken into account all recommendations and current local, state and federal guidelines and we have decided that all patrons, staff, cadets, and facility users are still required to wear face masks at this time while using the pool.
These are the reasons why:
- Not all staff are fully vaccinated and their safety is important so they can perform their job of providing you with a safe and comfortable environment in which to swim.
- We are unable to prove that individuals are fully vaccinated because it would be breaking the law through HIPAA if we even ask if someone is vaccinated.
- This is a private pool as part of a private school on private property and it is the school President’s decision to ensure that all visitors, cadets, patrons, staff and other users are in a safe environment.
