The Hargrave Military Academy Posy Graduate Football Team lost to Georgia Military College by score of 44-17 on Saturday, Sept. 17th. Georgia Military College is a nationally ranked junior college out of Milledgeville, Ga.
The Tiger offense struck first as Jason Stewart found Trey Metoyer on a 25 yard Scoring strike through the air. The Tiger’s offense battled a quick Georgia Military defense throughout the entire game. On defense, the Tiger’s faced a speedy attaclk from Georgia Military. Will Womack provided pressure on the Quaterback, as well as run support from is Defensive End Position. Another Defensvie End, Desmond Green had a solid outing on defense recording 5 tackles on the day.
The Tigers will continue to improve and look to get back to their winning ways, when the travel on Monday, Sept. 26th to Buckhannon, West Virginia to face Division 2 West Virginia Wesleyan College.
