Spring 2006 Varsity Tennis vs. Carlisle School

Hargrave 5 – Carlisle 4

The Tigers avenged a previous loss by defeating Carlisle at home 5-4. The big matches were Thomas Moore’s #2 singles rematch that ended in a victory after a previous loss to the same player. Also big was Grant Guelich and Geoffrey Serrao’s win at #1 doubles. The Tigers lost #1 doubles the last time out against Carlisle. Also stepping up for repeat singles wins were Andrew Lu and Adam Malin. Both won big. Malin and Alex Moore teamed up to clinch the match with a doubles victory. The Tigers are 3-1 in the VIC. Next match is Thursday away against Liberty Christian.
