The Varsity Tennis Team lost in the opening round to the eventual champion Virginia Episcopal School. The lone victory came from Alex Moore at #4 singles. We had other close matches at #1 with Thomas Moore and Adam Malin at #6.
Hargrave secures third place in the VIC.
VES won a surprise victory over the favorite Eastern Monnonite in the final round winning 6-3.
I am very proud of the accomplishments of these players. I want to thank the faculty and staff who came out to support us. I am very grateful to the parents who have supported us throughout the season.
Other good news. We are only graduating one player out of the top six.
