Strong First Half Not Enough As Tigers Lose 72-58

In an intense game with a distinct playoff atmosphere, the Tigers were not able to hold on after a strong 4th quarter rally from Carlisle. Hargrave held a two point advantage going into halftime, due largely to the defensive efforts of Cadet Dewey Carpenter, who helped hold Carlisle star Thon Maker scoreless in the first half. Offensively, Cadet Malachi Paige was the catalyst, pouring in 21 points with a stellar 10-12 shooting performance. Cadet Chris Conrad joined Paige in double-figures, scoring 10 points, 9 of which came from beyond the 3-point arc.
