The Hargrave Tiger Sharks swam against the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops today at the Onishi-Davenport Aquatic Center. The Tiger Sharks won 9 of 11 possible events and finished with a final score of 677 to 494.
The team qualified for the state tournament in February in the 200 yard freestyle relay, the 200 yard medley relay, and the 400 freestyle relay. New swimmer Bobby Taylor also swam a personal best time of 1:07 in the 100 yard breaststroke, qualifying him for the state tournament. This marks the fourth consecutive win for the Hargrave Tiger Sharks. We look forward to obtaining more state cut qualifications in the upcoming meets.
