Last night the Tigers made their coaches proud both in the pool and on the deck. They hosted both Fishburne Military Academy and a very competitive Roanoke Catholic team! The Tigers officially start the season 3-0 after a double win last night!

The guys showed a lot of heart, many swimming through illness and general fatigue that happens this time of year. They continued to see times drop, and have noteworthy swims:
-Brandon Bordelon and Caleb Rogers took 1st & 2nd in the 200 free (Caleb dropped over 9 seconds!)
– Both Kevin White & Bjorn Brinkley dropped time in their 200 IM’s
– In the 50 free, they had personal records from almost all of the guys who swam (that’s 8 swimmers dropping time!)
– Both Wyeth Davis & Bjorn Brinkley swam the 100 free for the first time and scored points putting up solid times
– In the 200 freestyle relay, they went 1-2 with the winning relay of DeAngelis, Massina, Otter, & Bordelon and the second place team of Brinkley, Kennedy, Demarest, & Davis
-In the 100 Back, Charles Massina, Brandon Bordelon, Matteo Sicignano, and 8th grader Peter Ferrante all dropped notable amounts of time!
