Fellow shot putters also had personal bests, Charles Massina (Togo) took 3rd with a throw of 33 feet and Jordan Dunn (Charlotte, NC) had a personal best of 31 feet.

The Tigers would not stop there as they took first, second, and third place in the discus. Cameron Spangler (Wilmington, NC) took first with a throw of 97 feet and 1 inch, Scott finished 2nd with a throw of 81 feet and 3 inches, and Dunn took third with a personal best of 80 feet and 9 inches.

Harris, took first in the Triple Jump with a jump of 39 feet and 7 inches. “It was a great day to be a Tiger,” said assistant coach Jeremy Eubank. “We had a lot of guys throw/run personal bests against two conference teams which gave us a good idea of where they stand in the conference.”

In the 4 x 100 meter relay made up of Richard Jiang, Harris, Billups, and Bennett took second with a time of 48.60 seconds.
