Hargrave went up against some of the finest wrestlers in the state in the Virginia Independent School Conference Championship and emerged victorious, hoisting the championship trophy on their home mat in Walter Davis Gymnasium. The Tigers were led by strong performances up and down the card, with noteworthy performances in their respective weight classes from Tyler Medlin (Gold Medal), Gabe Medlin (Bronze Medal), Elias Hanson (Gold Medal), Deven Wallace (Silver), Tyler Morris (Bronze Medal), Quinn Griffith (Gold Medal), Walter Thompson (Silver Medal), and Max Hohimer (Bronze Medal)
Next up for the Tigers is the VISAA State Championship in Virginia Beach. The event will run 2/15-2/16 at Cape Henry Collegiate School.
