The Tigers avenged an earlier loss yesterday by placing first at the North Cross home meet on Tuesday afternoon.
Gabe Medlin placed second (20:20) overall on the challenging mountainous course. Tyler Morris (20:28) and Hamza Al Tell (21:52) were critical in the victory by reeling in and passing North Cross runners with a half mile to go in the race. Rashed Khraisat, and Walter Thompson also scored for HMA. The win was assured by Hargrave’s sixth runner, Gage Crisp, and seventh runner, AJ Thomas. Hunter Adkins, Bohong Yang, and Bennett Soles rounded out the field for the Tigers. It was truly a team win!
