The Tigers controlled the game from start to finish against ODFC opponent Covenant in a 38-13 victory.
The Tigers started the game with touchdown runs from Darrell Smith of 1 yard and 44 yards all in the first half. The second quarter Riggs Jordan scored all the points on a 28 yard touchdown reception and a 33 yard field goal. The defense gave up one touchdown in the 2nd quarter.
The third quarter started with a Connor Rogers’ touchdown reception of 55 yards to put the Tigers up 31-6. Darrell Smith finished off the scoring for the day with a 29 yard rushing touchdown.
Darrell Smith was the star on offense totaling 290 yards total offense with 3 rushing touchdowns for the day. The defense, despite giving up a lot of yards, kept the Covenant School offense just to 13 points on the day. Brian Williams, Austin Bennett, and Jourden Galloway led the team on the defensive side of the ball.
